March 7, 2008 at 4:21 pm | Rick Randolph

A strong upper level disturbance is combining with a cold and moist airmass to bring snow to the region through tonight.

The following counties are affected: Clay, Oktibbeha, Winston, Madison, Leake, Neshoba, Hinds, Rankin, and Scott.

The advisory remains in effect from 5 p.m. this afternoon to 2 a.m. tomorrow.

Snow will continue through the evening before tapering off to flurries after midnight. Totall snowfall of one to two inches remans possible.

A snow advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibility. Use caution while driving.

Also, e-mail us with your winter wonderland photos and we'll put them on the air!
