Florida wildfires hit more than 150 homes; perpetrators sought

Investigators are continuing to search Tuesday for one or more arsonists behind a string of wildfires that have destroyed at least 150 homes alongside Florida's coastline.

For the third day straight, Brevard County firefighters are trying to contain the fires that have ravaged through nearly 4,000 acres, the equivalent of 6 square miles, in Palm Bay and nearby Malabar.

Though winds have stopped fueling the flames, dry conditions make for less-than-ideal conditions for containing the blaze.

"We don't have any [rain], and we're not projected to get any anytime soon," Palm Bay Fire Marshal Mike Couture said.
